Nadia Helmy is an Egyptian researcher and University lecturer in Political Science. She is specialized in Chinese politics since she graduated from the University in 2004. She graduated from the department of Political Science- Cairo University in 2004. Nadia hold her PhD in Chinese political system in 2011, entitled:
"Political Elite and Political Reform in China from 1991- 2008"
She is working now as an assistant professor (Lecturer) in the department of Political Science in the School of Economic Studies and Political Science, Beni Suef University in Upper Egypt. It's a newly school in Egypt founded in 2013, as she got on the first level to all the competitors who admitted for this position.
Nadia is also now the director of South and Eastern Asian Studies Unit/ Beni Suef University.
Dr.Nadia studied Chinese language at Peking University (PEK) for two years, from 2009- 2011.
She wrote and published many researches at numerous specialized journals in the Arab world and outside.
She was a permanent guest at CCTV (Chinese Central Channel) launched to the Arab world. As, she was hosted several times to talk about different various issues.
She is familiar with the Egyptian and Arab media and newspapers covering the Chinese activities in the region, she permanently hosted by Egyptian and Arab T.V channels to analysis the Chinese affaires.
Nadia is a Monthly lecturer in Chinese affairs at Chinese Cultural Center in Cairo.
Even in Egypt, Dr.Nadia is a permanent guest in all Egyptian and Arab TV channels about China. And Dr.Nadia considers the "Golden time" for her after the Egyptian president "El Sisi" visited China in December 2014, and the Chinese president "Xi Jingping" visit to Egypt in January 2016. As, she was the lonely permanent guest in all TV channels and press to talk about this important visit to the region in this critical time.
All her writings are just focusing on China, in recent years, especially after Arab spring revolutions, she begin to focus on the impact of all these factors on the relationship with China.
She joined the Centre for Middle Eastern Studies (CMES) at Lund University, Sweden from January 20, 2015 to October 20, 2015, as visiting senior researcher in Chinese politics and Middle Eastern studies. She was invited to write a book, entitled:
"The impact of Jewish minorities in China and Israeli think tanks on Arab national security"
Her research interests revolve predominantly around Chinese studies and its impact on the Middle East region, Moreover, her work in recent years has focused on the impacts of the recently Arab spring revolutions and the changes in the Middle East on Chinese policies, such as:
A- The impact of Middle Eastern revolutions on the Communist party in China
B- Middle Eastern studies in The China's Universities and think tanks
C- The impact of Political Islam in China on the relationship with the Arab world
D- The role of Chinese media in shaping Chinese public opinion towards the revolutions of January 25 and June 30 in Egypt
E- The impact of Chinese labor at Israel on Arab national security
F- The impact of the political changes in the Middle East on China's foreign policy

Nadia's currently writing a complicated book (in Arabic and English), about: "The impact of Israeli think tanks and Jewish minorities in China on Arab national security". As she studied the situation of Jewish minorities there while studying at Beijing- China. So, she tried to benefit strongly from her experience in this regard in achieving and writing an analytical book explaining many phenomena related to the Jews in China and their future impact on the Arab national security from the perspective of Arab-Israeli conflict, as an analytical and future new study.
