厉以宁教授1930年11月22日出生于江苏省仪征市。1955年毕业于北京大学经济系,之后任教于北京大学,任经济学教授,北京大学光华管理学院院长,现任北京大学社会科学学部主任、北京大学光华大学管理学院名誉院长。
厉以宁教授于1988年至2003年任全国人大常委、财经委员会副主任、法律委员会副主任,十届全国政协常委、全国政协经济委员会副主任。现任十一届全国政协常委、全国政协经济委员会副主任。
厉以宁教授在经济学理论方面著书多部,并发表了大量文章,是我国最早提出股份制改革理论的学者之一。他提出了中国经济发展的非均衡理论,并对“转型”经济著有大量学说,对中国经济的发展产生了深远的影响。
厉以宁教授因为在经济学以及其他学术领域中的杰出贡献而多次获奖。其中包括中国经济学界的最高奖“孙冶方经济学奖”、“国家中青年突出贡献专家证书”、“金三角”奖,国家教委科研成果一等奖,环境与发展国际合作奖(最高奖)、第十五届福冈亚洲文化奖——学术研究奖(日本)等。他曾多次被邀请到国内外多所大学与科研机构演讲。
厉以宁教授的主要著作包括:《中国经济改革的思路》,《非均衡的中国经济》,《中国经济改革与股份制》,《股份制与现代市场经济》,《转型发展理论》,《超越市场与超越政府——论道德力量在经济中的作用》,《资本主义的起源——比较经济史研究》、《罗马-拜占庭经济史》和《论民营经济》等。
Biographical Sketch: Professor Li Yining
Born on November 22th, 1930 in Yi Zheng, Jiangsu Province, Professor Li Yining graduated from the Economics Department of Peking University in 1955 and then became an instructor of Peking University. Since then he has been teaching at Peking University, and during 1994 to 2005 was the founding Dean of Guanghua School of Management, Peking University. He currently serves as the Provost of Social Sciences of Peking University and the Emeritus Dean of Guanghua School of Management.
Professor Li Yining was a member and Deputy Director of the Financial and Economic Affair Sub-Committee and then Deputy Director of the Legislature Sub-Committee of the Standing Committee of National People’s Congress from 1988 to 2003. He is serving for the second term as a member and Deputy Director of Economic Affair Subcommittee of the Standing Committee of the CPPCC.
Professor Li Yining has published numerous books and papers about economics theories and he is one of the first scholars in China to propose the shareholding system reform for the Chinese state-owned enterprises. He developed a theory of unbalanced economic development in China and wrote prolifically about transition economies, which has had profound influence on China’s economic development.
For his significant contributions to economics and the related fields, Professor Li Yining has won many prestigious awards. These include “Sun Yefang Award of Economics Research”, which is the top prize in China for economic research; “Certified National Experts with Significant Contributions,” “Golden Triangle Award,” “First Prize for Social Science Research” issued by the State Education Commission, “Environment & Development International Cooperation Award” (top prize), 15th “Fukuoka Asia Culture Award: Academic Research Award (Japan).” He has been invited to deliver lectures by many domestic and foreign universities and research institutes.
